BenQ has released the LK830ST Laser Simulation Projector in North America and Europe. It is marketed for immersive experiences, mapping or other corporate environments. This model was unveiled in August 2025 alongside the LH830ST laser house mapping projector.
You can now buy the BenQ LK830ST Laser Simulation Projector at the brand’s online store in the US for $2,499. It is available at UK retailers like visunext for around £2,418. In EU countries, this model can be purchased for €2,399; however, it is currently available for €1,999 at Golfroom.
The LK830ST is a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 px) short throw laser projector, with a throw ratio of 0.5:1 and a maximum image size of 300 inches (~762 cm). The model’s laser is said to deliver up to 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, with the light source expected to run for around 20,000 hours with typical use. The projector is also said to cover 93% of the Rec.709 color gamut and offer a 3,000,000:1 full on/off (FOFO) contrast ratio. Plus, users can choose from a range of modes, including HDR10, HLG and sRGB.
BenQ’s LK830ST comes with image perfecting tools such as 2D Keystone Correction and Corner Fit. There is a range of ports, including USB and HDMI, with 16.7 ms input lag and a 1080p@60Hz resolution. This new BenQ model is also somewhat compact, measuring 279 x 121 x 229 mm (~11.0 x 4.8 x 9.0 inches) and weighing 3.4 kg (~7.5 lbs), which should make it easy to mount to the ceiling or to move.
