Claws of Awaji, the first DLC for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming September 16. Ubisoft is also releasing New Game+ mode on July 29 and early September will bring an update to allow changing the time of day.

Ubisoft recently confirmed that it is working on a new Ghost Recon title, among other games. While that game is seemingly far away from release, the team is more focused on its already released projects, the biggest one being Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Back in April, Ubisoft shared a roadmap for the following couple months with minimal information on what’s further in the pipeline. Now, the summer roadmap update brings more concrete dates for additional content coming to the game.

Shared on the official website, the summer roadmap shows what’s in store for the game up till September. The first DLC titled Claws of Awaji will be released on September 16 and it will bring around 10 hours of additional gameplay, along with a new island to explore, new weapon and abilities, outfits and gear, and more. Those who pre-ordered the game will get Claws of Awaji DLC for free but the standalone price for the expansion is unknown at this point. But, even before that, there are a couple other features coming to Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

On July 29, New Game+ will be added to the game. Those who have completed the game will be able to experience it with New Game+ mode where the level cap has been increased, knowledge rank has gone up to 10, forge level is up to four, and new achievements have been added. Then, early September will bring the ‘fast forward time of day’ functionality as well as uncapped framerates for cutscenes on PC.

There is no new information on the rumored multiplayer modes. Known as ‘League,’ this co-op mode is expected to involve other character duos besides Naoe and Yasuke. This mode is said to be on track for 2026. There is another larger multiplayer mode called Invictus which is also in development and it will allow up to 18 players in a Fall Guys-like experience.
