AOC expands ultrawide lineup with dual-purpose gaming monitors

AOC has unveiled two new 34-inch ultrawide gaming displays, the CU34G4CA and CU34G4ZCA, designed to appeal to both competitive gamers and hybrid workers. Each monitor features a curved 1500R VA panel with 3440x1440 (WQHD) resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio, DisplayHDR 400 certification and Adaptive-Sync support. 90 W USB-C Power Delivery is also on board, allowing users to connect and charge compatible laptops through a single cable.
The two models differ only in refresh rate and connectivity. The CU34G4CA provides a refresh rate of 180Hz, while the CU34G4ZCA reaches 240Hz and supports an overclocked mode of up to 250 Hz. The higher-end version also provides two HDMI 2.1 ports with FRL, as opposed to the two HDMI 2.0 ports of the weaker model, making it more appealing for demanding gamers seeking smoother gameplay and faster response times.
Otherwise, both monitors include one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A ports and a USB hub with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. An integrated KVM switch is also on board, allowing users to control multiple systems with one keyboard and mouse. Additional highlights include ergonomic height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, Flicker-Free technology, Low Blue Mode, and compatibility with AOC’s G-Menu software.
AOC has confirmed UK availability for August, with the CU34G4CA and CU34G4ZCA priced at £289.99 and £329.99, respectively. A European launch is also expected around the same time, but AOC is yet to announce release plans for the US or other global regions.
