OPPO's first-gen foldable phone, the Find N, has rocketed to 5th place on the AnTuTu benchmark's final ranking of Android flagships for 2021. However, Xiaomi's latest Black Shark gaming flagship was not to be knocked from its #1 spot with its Snapdragon 888+ platform. Then again, their time at the top may shortly be at an end.

AnTuTu Benchmark has now released its Android smartphone chart for December 2021, revealing little room in the top 5 for devices with the Snapdragon 888 processor - with 1 exception. The OPPO Find N seems to have launched just in time to make it to the last slot in this top-flight echelon, with a total score of 836772.

On the other hand, it was not completely alone in the top 10, joined by the also-888-based iQOO 8 and Neo5S, in 6th and 8th place respectively, and by the Find X3 Pro (also from OPPO) at #10. However, the rest of the chart definitely belonged to the 888+.

The 16GB RAM Black Shark 4S Pro retained its lead from November 2021, followed by the 12GB RedMagic 6S Pro at #2 and by iQOO's 8 Pro and Vivo's X70 Pro+ in 3rd and 4th place respectively. Interestingly, the Moto Edge X30 was left out of this list, even though the Edge S30 made it in at #9.

Nevertheless, January 2022 may be the time for Motorola's new flagship smartphone to shine. Its new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform has been projected to blow its immediate predecessor away with the potential for 1,000,000 or more in AnTuTu scores for the first time.

Then again, the phone may have multiple rivals, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Realme GT2 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro and iQOO 9 Pro included, to vie with for the new #1 spot at the end of this month.
