The OPPO Reno7 series has only just launched in China, and is only rumored to do so as Find X5 variants in any additional markets at present. However, according to LetsGoDigital, the OEM already has plans for their successors with a very different look this time around.
The Reno7 and 7 Pro were unveiled with flat edges and new camera humps that OPPO may have gotten from the same place the OnePlus 9RT and Realme GT2 Pro got theirs. However, according to LetsGoDigital, the "Reno 8 Pro" will return to a traffic-light rear camera arrangement, albeit contained in a module that extends all the way across the back of the phone.
If this sounds familiar, it is because the OEM has already developed a rear panel quite like it for the 2021 K9 series, which may have been inspired in turn by the top-end Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra of the same year.
In fact, LetsGoDigital has even presented the putative 8-series variant in colors also found in the current K line. Then again, the alleged new Reno has flattened edges yet to be seen in phones with its alleged camera hump.
