A new leak by popular tipster @OnLeaks has now revealed renders of what will be the OPPO Find X5 Pro. Tentative specs of the phone have now also surfaced in the wild, with one notable takeaway being the potential choice of a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 over Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

OPPO's Find X series usually offers the company's most premium devices for each generation. After releasing the OPPO Find X3 lineup, OPPO looks set to jump directly to the Find X5 generation, and a new leak has now revealed renders and tentative specs of the OPPO Find X5 Pro.

Skipping over the OPPO Find X4 isn't particularly groundbreaking, as the number "four" is considered unlucky in Chinese culture. OnePlus, for example, skipped the OnePlus 4 as well years ago.

The leaked renders are courtesy of OnLeaks, so fans can expect the actual device to bear a strong resemblance at the very least. The design itself is interesting, for lack of a better qualifier. The phone's camera module stands out in particular, with the rest of the rear keeping a clean look.

Supposedly, the OPPO Find X5 Pro could sport a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED, a 50 MP + 50 MP + 13 MP triple-cam setup at its rear, a 13 MP selfie camera, and a 5000 mAh battery. The source also lists a MediaTek Dimensity 9000. While most of the provided specifications appear to be speculation, OPPO has confirmed that a phone in the next generation of Find X phones will be powered by the Dimensity 9000.
