The Realme GT Neo 5 is rumored to launch as what might be the world's fastest-charging Android smartphone in 2023. Now, a design for this allegedly record-breaking mobile device has allegedly been revealed in advance. The new leak hints at inspiration drawn from former Xiaomi flagship phablets.

The Realme GT Neo 3 was unique in that it debuted as SKUs that varied by charging speed as well as RAM and internal storage, the higher-end of which introduced the OEM's fastest wired standard to date. Despite this, the smartphone launched in a chassis that, with its Cyclops-like rear camera hump, stood out in a potentially polarizing manner in 2022.

However, Realme might have done better by its rumored successor. It is thought to outstrip the Neo 3 150W with upgraded 240W charging for its 4,600mAh in its own top-end SKU.

Now, according to the leaker Steven Hemmerstoffer, also known as OnLeaks, it will also upgrade to a new rear camera hump that will extend all the way across the top part of its rear panel.

As the leak, presented in partnership with SmartPrix, depict the device's actual triple shooters as housed in 2 smaller circles off to 1 side, the design is reminiscent of the Mi 11 Ultra, although obviously without an active secondary display.

Nevertheless, the alleged "GT Neo 5" looks a little more original; then again, Realme's sister brand OPPO has done a very similar thing with its K9 and K10 Android smartphone lines.
