OnePlus has confirmed multiple highlights of its upcoming flagship phone. The OnePlus 15 is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Additionally, it will be the first OnePlus smartphone to have a 165Hz display. For comparison, its predecessor had a 120Hz refresh rate screen. Louis Lee, the president of OnePlus China, has now revealed that the OnePlus 15 will support 165 fps gameplay in multiple popular mobile games.
A Weibo post confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will support 165 fps gameplay in titles such as Delta Force, Call of Duty Mobile, Arena Breakout, League of Legends: Wild Rift, and Naruto Mobile.
According to a review by Geekerwan on YouTube, the OnePlus 15 ran Delta Force at an average of 164.9 fps with 1% lows of 148.4 fps during a 30-minute session, while power draw was measured at 4.70 W.
It is worth noting that a limited number of titles may support native 165 fps gameplay, while many others may remain capped at 60 fps or 120 fps, depending on optimization. The OnePlus 15’s Geekbench score suggests a 25% improvement in single-core and multi-core testing compared to the OnePlus 13 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Separately, a previous leak revealed that the phone may launch at a lower price than the OnePlus 13 in China. More details are expected at the phone’s launch, which is anticipated for mid-October in China.
