LG comes up with its latest CULV notebook – the T280

It is powered by the latest Intel CULV Core 2 Duo

LG launched its brand-new CULV notebook recently – the T280, that is powered by the latest Intel CULV Core 2 Duo processor - SU7300 with 3MB of cache and whose clock frequency is set at 1.3 GHz – as reported by Softpedia. If this is too powerful and thus pricey for your liking, there is another option in form of the SU4100 with 1.3GHz clocking speed and 2MB cache memory. Each will be accompanied by the Intel GMA 4500HD and 2GB of DDR3 1066 memory. The T280 will sport an 11.6-inch display panel with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Connectivity will be through the Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b / g / n Wi-Fi for wireless communications. The 1.39kg (including the 6-cell battery) machine has a dimension of 293 (W) x 200 (D) x 16.7 ~ 31.5 (H) mm – as mentioned by Softpedia. It will come pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.

The bad news is that LG is planning to release it only in Korea right now, and there is no word as to when it’ll be available in Europe and the US. Although it is priced at an exorbitant $993, but I’m sure that will be much cheaper by in US.
