Rumours about new MacBooks
There are rumours, which say that Apple wants to present new MacBooks on their special event in October.
The next Apple event takes place at October the 14th of 2008. Supposedly, they will present new MacBooks and an unknown product called “Brick” at this event.
Rumours say, that the MacBooks get a facelift and they will look more similar to the MacBook Pro. Their case will be made of silver aluminium as well.
Furthermore, the display gets equipped with LED backlight and the prices of the MacBooks get reduced. That information is still a rumour.
Supposedly, Apple also wants to introduce a device called “Brick”. This could be a subnotebook or a netbook. We don’t know full particulars so far.
Even the MacBook Air will get some updates. Probably, its hard disk gets enlarged and the SSD gets more capacity. Even the CPU’s could be upgraded to Penryn processors.
On October the 14th we will see which of those rumours comes true and which won’t.
