Colorful shows off 300 Hz gaming laptop with GeForce RTX 5070 and 16-core Core Ultra 9 "Panther Lake" CPU

At an ongoing Intel event, popular OEM Colorful has showcased its upcoming iGame M15 Origo gaming laptop with powerful Panther Lake CPUs and an extremely fast 300 Hz display.
The laptop was originally announced during CES 2026, but has now been presented in all its glory at the aforementioned event. Powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H CPU and a GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, the iGame M15 should be able to perform admirably well in demanding workloads as well as gaming. The system will also be equipped with 32 GB of RAM.

In terms of raw performance, the 16-core Core Ultra 9 386H should be able to keep up with the Ryzen 9 8945HX in multicore benchmarks, as indicated by a leaked Geekbench listing. Of course, cooling will play a crucial role in determining real-world sustained performance. Considering that the iGame M15 gaming laptop sports a 19.9-mm thin chassis, it will be interesting to see how well Colorful manages to maintain thermals.
The GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU will be granted a 115-watt TGP, which is pretty much standard. Gamers will also appreciate the speedy 300 Hz display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600. Colorful claims that the display will be able to cover the entire sRGB color gamut. Of course, the RTX 5070 should easily be able to handle QHD gaming at medium-high settings, although its 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM might start to show its age sooner rather than later.
Pricing and availability details are yet to be shared. There is no word on an international release as of this writing, but it is worth noting that Colorful does like to bring many of its products to the international market.
