Daewoo Lucoms develops low cost laptop

The manufacturer Daewoo Lucoms also designed a low cost notebook. The new laptop is called Lukid.

Low cost laptops like the Asus Eee PC are very popular. The manufacturer Daewoo Lucoms wants to develop a notebook of this type as well.

The Lukid is equipped with an Intel Celeron M ULV processor with 900 MHz. Furthermore, the laptop offers 512 MB RAM and a 30 GB hard drive. The installed operating system is Windows XP.

The Lukid's display measures 9-inch and gets supported by a GMA 900 graphic chip. A WLAN adapter and a LAN port provide communication. Two USB 2.0 ports and a 0.3 mega pixel webcam are also included.

The Lukid will cost about $ 531 in South Korea, but no word about availability so far.
