Xiaomi has listed the 65W Power Dock on its global website, pointing to a wider rollout of this accessory. It is already available in Taiwan, where it is known as the 5W GaN extension cable. Features include multiple AC outputs, two USB-A ports and two USB-C ports offering an up to 65W output.

The Xiaomi 65W Power Dock has appeared on the brand’s global website. This charging accessory is already available in Taiwan, where it is known as the Xiaomi 65W GaN extension cable. It is now expected to roll out to other markets worldwide.

Xiaomi describes the 65W Power Dock as a 7-in-1 solution. It offers three AC outputs; the Taiwanese version of the product features two three-pin Type B sockets and one two-pin socket. There are also two USB-C ports supporting Xiaomi 65W HyperCharge. According to Xiaomi, this should allow you to charge a Xiaomi 14 to 50% in 18 minutes, or a MacBook Air 13 M1 to 50% in 43 minutes. Other supported fast charging protocols include PD3.0, QC3.0, and FCP. Plus, Gallium nitride (GaN) technology is said to provide fast, efficient charging.

The final two outputs are 22.5W USB-A ports, which could be used to charge an iPhone or a smartwatch. When all four ports are in use, the first USB-C delivers 45W, with the other three outputs sharing 15W. The 65W Power Dock has an overload protector button; the maximum load is 1,650W. The power dock is marketed as compact, measuring 120.0 x 46.5 x 44.0 mm (~4.7 x 1.8 x 1.7 inches), and it has a minimal white design.

Xiaomi has yet to announce when the Xiaomi 65W Power Dock will be released in more markets or how much it will cost. In Taiwan, the Xiaomi 65W GaN extension cable retails for NT$799 (~$28).
