Xiaomi has launched the 3-in-1 Power Bank 5000 33W in China. It arrives shortly after the brand’s new Power Bank 10000 45W was revealed, with a similarly colorful, metallic design.
The new Xiaomi power bank is a 3-in-1 device with an integrated USB-C cable, a USB-C port and folding pins, allowing it to act as a charging plug. The integrated cable is said to have been tested to withstand over 5,000 bends; it is worth noting that the cable does not appear to be replaceable. In charger mode, the power bank delivers an up to 33W output via the USB-C cable and port. In power bank mode, the maximum power is capped at 22.5W. At 20W in either mode, you could charge an iPhone 16 Pro to 50% in around half an hour.
This power bank has a 5,000 mAh battery, with a built-in display showing the remaining battery level. Plus, there are nine safety features protecting against issues like overheating and overvoltage. Xiaomi describes this accessory as compact, measuring 83 x 53.5 x 32.4 mm (~3.3 x 2.1 x 1.3 inches). It is available in four colors: Pearl White, Grape Green, Powder Pink and Sea Salt Blue.
The Xiaomi 3-in-1 Power Bank 5000 33W is currently available in China at the discounted price of CNY 169 (~$24), with a CNY 199 (~$28) RRP. Whether or when it could launch globally remains to be seen. In countries like Germany, the brand already sells other charging accessories, such as the Xiaomi Ultra Slim Power Bank 5000mAh (curr. €29.99 at Mi Store Germany).
