The EcoFlow Rapid Mag Series power banks are now available to pre-order in Europe. These two accessories, with 5,000 mAh (5K) and 10,000 mAh (10K) capacities, are part of the brand’s wider range of Rapid power banks, which also include the Rapid Pro devices.
EcoFlow’s new Rapid Mag Series power banks are designed for iPhone users. They each offer 7.5W wireless charging, with your phone held in place by military-grade N52 magnets. These are said to provide over 11N force, which should hold the device in place even when running or cycling. You can also charge a device via a USB-C port; the 5K version has a 20W USB-C output, while the 10K variant has a 30W USB-C output.
The Rapid Mag power bank’s lithium cobalt oxide batteries recharge via a 20W/30W input, with a 50% charge taking around 50 minutes. They are said to feature EcoFlow’s X-Cooling technology to ensure their surface temperature remains below 38°C (~100°F). Plus, the company describes these power banks as slim, with the 5K measuring 9.4 mm (~0.4 inches) thick and the 10K measuring 15.5 mm (~0.6 inches) thick. They are currently available in three colors, Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Lavender Purple, with white and peach versions also shown in a marketing image (below).
You can now pre-order the EcoFlow Rapid Mag Power Bank (5,000mAh, Qi 7.5W, Magnetic Charging) for £39.99/€39.99, a £6/€6 on the £45.99/€45.99 RRP. The EcoFlow Rapid Mag Power Bank (10,000mAh, Qi 7.5W, Magnetic Charging) is slightly more expensive at £65.99/€65.99 and is not currently discounted. These two accessories will officially launch on July 15th.
