The Xiaomi Mi Band Multifunctional Table Stand has appeared in China. While the company has yet to officially announce this new product, it has been spotted in the brand’s Mijia app. It can be found when users try to add a new device under the ‘Speaker’ section.
Xiaomi’s upcoming Mi Band Multifunctional Table Stand is designed to look like a robot. Two colorways are shown: a silver body and head with a yellow accent stripe, and a black body with a yellow head and a black stripe. The face of the robot appears to be a display, which is rumored to show the screen of the connected wearable.
According to leaked information about the Mi Band Multifunctional Tabletop, it supports Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to your wearable or smartphone. The device can be used to play music and answer phone calls and works with the brand’s voice assistant, thanks to an integrated microphone. There are silicone feet to help it grip the table surface, and it is powered via USB-C. It is not clear how the fitness tracker sits on the stand and whether or not it offers wireless charging.
The accessory is said to be compatible with the standard, NFC and Ceramic Special Edition versions of the Smart Band 8, Smart Band 9 (curr. €35.99 at Xiaomi Germany) and the new Smart Band 10. It is not compatible with the Smart Band Pro wearables. When the Xiaomi Mi Band Multifunctional Table Stand will be released in China, or how much it will cost, remains to be seen. Whether this accessory will also be sold in other markets like Europe remains to be seen.
