The Xiaomi Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 has been listed at the brand’s global store, pointing to an upcoming international release. This accessory was released in China in May 2025.
Xiaomi’s Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 offers two charging options. There is an up to 15W wireless charging pad with magnets to hold your phone in the right position. However, users can get a higher output of 22.5W when they use the USB-C port. This port is also used to recharge the power bank, with lights indicating the remaining battery level.
The 5,000 mAh battery should retain at least 70% capacity after 300 charging cycles. Plus, this lithium cobalt oxide battery is said to be denser than other battery types, helping to reduce the power bank’s size. The accessory is 8.7 mm (~0.3 inches) thick, making it 27.5% slimmer than the older Xiaomi Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh (curr. €25.49 at Mi Store Germany). It has an aluminum body measuring 102 x 69.6 mm (~4.0 x 2.7 inches) and weighs 122 g (~4.3 oz).
Images in the product listing suggest that the power bank will be available in four colorways: blue, gold, purple and black. It remains to be seen when the Xiaomi Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 will be released in more countries. The regional pricing of this product is also unknown; as a guide, it sells for CNY 199 (~$28) in China.
