Ugreen already offers various charging solutions with Qi2, such as the recently launched MagFlow 3 in 1 Charger Station, which retails for $79 on Amazon. Now, the manufacturer has unveiled what it claims is the world's very first power bank officially certified for Qi2.2.
Qi2.2 builds on the Qi2 wireless charging standard, which is based on Apple's MagSafe architecture. Among other improvements, version 2.2 features better energy efficiency and enhanced safety to make magnetic charging faster and more reliable. The standard also ensures broader compatibility with devices that support the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP), but also sets higher standards in terms of thermals, charging stability and overall interoperability.
With the MagFlow 25W Magnetic Power Bank, Ugreen now offers its first portable charger that officially meets this latest standard. For instance, it can wirelessly charge the iPhone 16 at up to 25 watts, which is higher than the 15 watts offered by Qi2.
Needless to say, the power bank is backward compatible and can wirelessly charge all Qi-compatible devices. Furthermore, it has a capacity of 10,000mAh and features a small display on the side that shows the current state of charge. Additionally, there's an integrated USB-C cable that also doubles as a strap.
Unfortunately, Ugreen's new Qi2.2 power bank cannot be ordered just yet. The manufacturer has announced that the Ugreen 25W MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank is expected to launch in the fall of 2025, but the official MSRP has not been unveiled thus far.
