The Radxa Cubie A7A is a new 85 x 56 mm single-board computer powered by an Allwinner A733 chipset and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. While Radxa has not officially launched the device yet, full details about the Cubie A7A have already turned up online ahead of schedule.

A new Radxa single-board computer (SBC) has been revealed in the style of the Raspberry Pi 5 (curr. $96 on Amazon). Officially, Radxa has not confirmed anything yet. Instead, the Linux Sunxi website has listed the Cubie A7A on its website complete with schematics, device pictures and a link to Radxa's website that is not yet live.

Nonetheless, Linux Sunxi has confirmed pretty much all there is to know about the Cubie A7A, including its reliance on an Allwinner A733 chipset. Built around two ARM Cortex-A76, six Cortex-A55 and one RISC-V E902 core, the Allwinner A733 also features a BXM-4-64 MC1 GPU, an optional 3 TOPS NPU and a VPU capable of encoding 4K/30 FPS footage.

Meanwhile, the Cubie A7A itself offers up to 16 GB of LPDDR5-4800 MT/s RAM plus eMMC, microSD and UFS storage options. As the images below show, the 85 x 56 mm board integrates a 40-pin GPIO header too, as well as a PCIe 3.0 FPC connector, HDMI 2.0b, USB Type-C and four USB Type-A ports of varying standards. Currently, pricing and availability remain unknown for now. More details about Radxa's next SBC can be found on the Linux Sunxi website.
