Xiaomi has now revealed the designs of the Redmi K Pad and Redmi K80 Ultra. Both devices will launch soon, with the Redmi K Pad expected to be an alternative of sorts to the Lenovo Legion Y700 (4th gen) and Apple's iPad Mini 7.

Xiaomi announced the imminent launch of two flagship products, the Redmi K Pad and Redmi K80 Ultra, days ago. While the company has yet to provide a specific launch date for the duo, it has now revealed the design of both devices.

Taking to its Redmi page on Weibo, the company has shown off multiple images of the Redmi K Pad and Redmi K80 Ultra. The Redmi K80 Ultra looks like its Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro siblings so there's not much to unpack there, but the Redmi K Pad is showcased with a clean design that corroborates reports from months ago claiming it would sport a single rear camera like the iPad Mini 7 it's aimed at.

Xiaomi is marketing the Redmi K Pad as a tablet that can be held one-handed and also fit into a pocket. Like the Legion Y700 (4th Gen), the Redmi K Pad is intended to be a performance-focused model and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+, a chipset that matches the Snapdragon 8 Elite on the Lenovo tablet. Both tablets sport 8.8-inch LCDs but it appears the Redmi K Pad may arrive with a battery disadvantage, as leaks moot a 7,000 mAh battery—slightly inadequate compared to the Legion Y700's 7,600 mAh unit.
