Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K80 Ultra in a matter of weeks. That phone is expected to launch globally as the Xiaomi 15T Pro later in the year, but a new leak now claims the 15T Pro could arrive with some significant differences in one department.
As shared by Chinese leaker Exeprience More, the Xiaomi 15T Pro will make its debut globally sharing most of its DNA with the imminent Redmi K80 Ultra. Supposedly, however, the phones will differ in a few departments, particularly in terms of camera hardware.
That won't come as a surprise to fans of the lineup, as it was the same with the Xiaomi 14T Pro and Redmi K70 Ultra last year. To be exact, the Xiaomi 14T Pro arrived with a wildly different camera setup, featuring an upgraded main camera, ultra-wide-angle camera, and selfie camera, as well as an actual 2.6x zoom lens versus the macro lens on the Redmi K70 Ultra. Presumably, the Xiaomi 15T Pro will be a similar affair.
Reportedly, the Redmi K80 Ultra—or the Redmi K80 Extreme Edition as it's officially branded—bears the model number "25060RK16C", the internal designation "O12", and the codename "Dali". The Xiaomi 15T Pro, on the other hand, is said to be coded as "2506BPN68G", "O12U", and "Klimt" respectively.
