Digital Chat Station has offered new insights into the Xiaomi 15T Pro, which is not expected to launch until the autumn. In the meantime, Xiaomi will likely introduce the Redmi K80 Ultra or Redmi K80 Extreme Edition though, around which the Xiaomi 15T Pro is believed to be based.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is preparing its first Dimensity 9400+ powered smartphone, having only used last year's Dimensity 9300+ inside the Redmi K70 Extreme Edition and the Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $639.99 on Amazon). Incidentally, MediaTek teased last week that the Dimensity 9400+ will officially debut on April 11 during its next Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC).
Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station claims that Xiaomi will complement the Dimensity 9400+ with a 50 MP primary camera. It remains unclear whether the Xiaomi 15T Pro will carry over last year's 50 MP and 1/1.31-inch camera from its predecessor, though. Regardless, the leaker anticipates that the Xiaomi 15T Pro will land with a 6.8-inch display, which would make the device taller than the Xiaomi 14T Pro and the recent Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Digital Chat Station adds that the new large display will output natively at 1440p (1.5K), just the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
