Xiaomi has celebrated new sales figures for the Redmi Note series globally, accurate until December 31, 2021. Strangely, the figures are identical to those that the company announced in October to its followers on Weibo. In the meantime, the company has unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series, starting in China with the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus.
Since then, Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Note 11 series in India as the Xiaomi 11i and the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge. Additionally, it has also released the Redmi Note 11 4G, a cheaper alternative to the original Redmi Note 11 that contains a 5G modem. Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 11T too, soon to be complemented by the Redmi Note 11S.
Reputedly, the Redmi Note series has exceeded 240 million sales globally, so it is unclear if today's or October's figures are correct. Still, we would not be surprised if Xiaomi reached 300 million units sold before the end of 2022, seeing as it claimed to have achieved 200 million sales in August 2021. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has not published its data, which it claims to have received from the Xiaomi Data Center.
