Yesterday, Xiaomi announced the date of its Redmi Note 11 global launch event. Scheduled for January 26, the event should bring at least the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro to global audiences, possibly in 4G and 5G variants. So far, Xiaomi has only published a few vague teasers, but Tech Insider Blog has come across numerous marketing assets.
Supposedly, the device shown is the global version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro, which looks slightly different to its Chinese counterpart. In fact, the device's rear design looks more like the Redmi Note 11S, a device that will arrive first in India. The global Redmi Note 11 Pro will also launch in new colours; the Redmi Note 11 Pro is not currently available in any of these colours.
Also, the leaked assets imply that the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery, a smaller capacity than its Chinese sibling, along with a Snapdragon SoC. Rumour has it that the Redmi Note 11 Pro will arrive globally with a Snapdragon 695, rather than the Dimensity 920 found in the original Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Still, the global Redmi Note 11 Pro will support 67 W fast charging and a 120 Hz refresh rate, matching its namesake. Unfortunately, Redmi Note 11 Pro pricing remains unknown at this stage. However, Xiaomi is tipped to launch the Redmi Note 11 for approximately €250.
