Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G to launch globally with a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, a 120 Hz display and a 5,000 mAh battery
Earlier today, Tech Insider Blog revealed details about the Redmi Note 11 Pro, a 5G smartphone with a Snapdragon SoC. Presumably arriving on January 26, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is one of many Redmi Note 11 series devices that Xiaomi is expected to unveil globally. Another is the Redmi Note 11S, which Redmi India has already started teasing.
It turns out that Xiaomi has a Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G up its sleeve too, a device that it does not currently sell in China. According to Mysmartprice and Ishan Agarwal, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G has a MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, rather than the Helio G88 found in the Redmi Note 11 4G. For reference, it is unclear what Snapdragon SoC the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G contains.
Additionally, the pair assert that the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G will match its 5G sibling on a 5,000 mAh battery, 67 W fast charging and a 108 MP primary camera. Based on the rest of the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi will probably turn to the ISOCELL HM2 again for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G. Moreover, both Redmi Note 11 Pro models are thought to feature a 6.67-inch and 120 Hz display, likely the ones used in the Chinese versions of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus.
As the leaked images below show, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will look almost identical. The former should arrive soon in at least Graphite Gray and Polar White colourways.
