Xiaomi Smart Band 7: European pricing leaks with global launch tipped to be occurring soon
It is no secret that Xiaomi plans to release the Smart Band 7 globally. Released last month in China, the device has since appeared at multiple certifications agencies outside its home market, including the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulation Authority (TDRA) in the UAE. Additionally, resellers have accidentally sent out global units, which we reported last week.
Subsequently, @_snoopytech_ has revealed European pricing for the Xiaomi Smart Band 7. Writing on Twitter, the leaker claims that the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will retail for between €50 and €60. Incidentally, Huawei has already announced its Band 7 for €59.99, which offers 14 days of battery and a SpO2 sensor, among other features. Hence, it seems that the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 could price match the Huawei Band 7 when it arrives in Europe. For reference, the Mi Smart Band 6 arrived in Europe for €45.99, so even a €50 price tag for the Smart Band 7 would be quite the year-on-year uplift.
Additionally, @_snoopytech_ has teased that the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 will support Apple Health, Google Fit and Strava integrations. This is nothing new for Xiaomi's fitness trackers though; the Mi Smart Band 6 also could synchronise data with these services. According to @_snoopytech_, Xiaomi plans to launch the Smart Band 7 soon globally. However, they have not revealed an exact release date yet, nor has one leaked yet from other sources. Xiaomi has not announced a new hardware event yet either, although it is rumoured to be revealing the Xiaomi 12 Ultra soon.
