Some tipsters have asserted that Xiaomi is not yet done with the Band 7 wearable and that a Pro version is still in the pipeline. While Ankit on Twitter simply states “Xiaomi is also planning to launch Mi Band 7 Pro soon”, there seems to be a bit more information about the potential gadget that can be gleaned from the Chinese social media site Weibo – although a pinch of salt is required for such details.
Over on Weibo, digital bloggers have claimed that the mysterious Xiaomi Band 7 Pro will actually turn up at the same time as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra smartphone, which could be in July according to the latest leaks. As for upgrade expectations, it appears GPS would be the most likely inclusion for a Pro model of the Band 7 while a larger battery (possibly 250 mAh) and even a larger display could also be on the cards.
The Xiaomi Band 7 Pro supposedly leaked a while ago when it appeared in application code for the Mi Door Lock smart lock. An accompanying image (see below) showed the Xiaomi Band 7 NFC and the Xiaomi Band 7 Pro, but this has seemingly been altered now to leave just mention of the regular Band 7 and Band 7 NFC fitness trackers, with the Pro model mysteriously disappearing.
