Xiaomi released its latest fitness tracker, the Xiaomi Band 7, in China weeks ago. It appears the Band 7 has been a resounding success commercially, with the company now announcing an impressive sales achievement.
On its official Weibo page yesterday, Xiaomi announced that it had sold over a million units of the Xiaomi Band 7 since the smart band went on sale. The fitness tracker debuted in China on May 24, which means it achieved this milestone in less than a month. Last year, the Mi Band 6 achieved the same milestone in a similar timeframe.
The Xiaomi Band 7 starts at the equivalent of US$36 for the non-NFC variant, indicating that Xiaomi has made over US$36 million from sales of the popular fitness tracker so far. That number will likely skyrocket over the next few months as well, with the Xiaomi Band 7 set to launch globally soon. According to recent reports, the Band 7 could be priced around €50 (US$53) on the global market.
