Two months on, Eyes of Heaven R remains unconfirmed by Bandai Namco

Two months after JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven R surfaced through a Brazilian ratings filing, Bandai Namco has still not confirmed the remaster exists. The listing, which appeared on Brazil's Classificação Indicativa portal on June 2, 2026, classified the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC, but no announcement, trailer, or release window has followed.
The filing rated the game for ages 14 and up, citing violence, and listed a 2026 manufacture date. Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. was named producer, with Solutions 2 Go listed as distributor, indicating Western retail groundwork is already underway even without a public reveal.
No showcase reveal despite several opportunities
Since the listing emerged, Bandai Namco has had multiple high-profile windows to confirm the game and has used none of them. The Xbox Games Showcase and its accompanying Gears of War: E-Day Direct aired June 7 with no mention of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven R. Summer Game Fest's main showcase also came and went that same week without a reveal, though Bandai Namco could still have addressed it through a smaller partner segment or side stream not captured here. Xbox has since published its full Gamescom 2026 booth lineup for August 26 and 27, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven R is not on it, though publisher plans for the show can still shift closer to the date.
