Trek has unveiled the District+ electric bike in Europe with two motor options—the Bosch Performance Line motor and the Active Line Plus motor. Available in seven configurations, the e-bike features an adjustable stem, Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, a removable, lockable Bosch battery, and a 63 mm Suntour suspension fork.

Trek has launched its latest commuter electric bike, the District+, in Europe. Interestingly, Trek allows riders to choose from two different motor options. Riders can even choose from multiple battery pack and drivetrain options. As far as configurations are concerned, Trek offers a total of seven configurations for the District+ model.

Let’s talk about the motor. You can either choose from Bosch Active Line Plus or Bosch Performance Line motor options. Speaking of numbers, the former offers 60 Nm of torque, while the latter is said to deliver 75 Nm of torque. Both motors offer a top speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h). The e-bike has a removable and lockable Bosch PowerTube battery. Battery options include 360 Wh, 540 Wh, and 600 Wh packs and offer 70 km (43 miles), 100 km (62 miles), and 115 km (71 miles) of range, respectively.

Furthermore, the District+ uses a Gates carbon belt drive, which replaces a conventional chain and is designed to reduce maintenance. Stopping power is provided by MT200 hydraulic disc brakes. Speaking of drivetrain, Trek offers Shimano CUES 9/10-speed chain drive along with 5/7-speed Shimano Nexus gear hubs in either belt or chain configurations. Other features include a 63 mm Suntour suspension fork, an adjustable stem, an SP Connect mount, and integrated lights and fenders. Plus, the e-bike has an aluminium frame, which is capable of handling a maximum payload of 300 lbs (136 kg).

Available in cobra blood, lunar silver, and dark star colorways, the Trek District+ e-bike prices range from £2,300 to £3,000. Buyers can choose from four frame sizes, namely, small, medium, large, and extra large.
