Specialized’s latest e-bike shifts automatically and packs high torque alongside a feature list that stands out even for a fully equipped trekking model. The Turbo Vado 3 6.0 IGH also comes loaded with modern tech integrations.

Specialized has expanded its lineup with the launch of the Turbo Vado 3 6.0 IGH. While promotional claims always warrant some scrutiny, this model delivers an exceptionally rich feature set and smart connectivity. It supports Apple’s Find My network and features a 2.2-inch touchscreen seamlessly integrated into the handlebar/stem area. An integrated Quad Lock mount provides secure smartphone mounting with wireless charging, while the frame lock—a rare inclusion in itself—can be operated digitally. For added security, the frame lock pairs with a compatible Abus chain lock to prevent theft by carry-away. Safety is further enhanced by a built-in Garmin radar system that detects approaching rear traffic.

Utility hardware includes front and rear fenders as well as dual luggage racks. At its core, the bike relies on a Specialized 3.1 motor delivering up to 100 Nm of torque, slightly capped by the manufacturer to stay strictly within the drivetrain's rated tolerances. Drivetrain duties are handled by a continuously variable Enviolo Automatic internal gear hub with a 380% gear ratio, paired with a clean Gates carbon belt drive. Range is provided by a large 840 Wh battery. Given the extensive feature set, a total weight of 32.45 kg (71.5 lbs) comes as little surprise. Comfort components include a RockShox suspension fork with 90 mm of travel and a suspension seatpost. Specialized lists the Turbo Vado 3 6.0 IGH at an MSRP of €7,899.
