New full-suspension e-bike launches as a more affordable Pro version with 1,500 W DJI Avinox motor

Attentive readers may recognize the name, as we previously covered the Tarok Ultra. With the new Tarok Pro, Raymon is introducing a significantly more accessible version of the e-MTB, undercutting the top-spec model by a substantial €2,000. While its €5,999 price tag is by no means cheap, the Raymon Tarok Pro is built for serious off-road use rather than casual fair-weather rides. Like the Ultra, it relies on the Avinox M2S mid-drive motor, which delivers up to 150 Nm of torque in Boost mode and a peak output of 1,500 watts. These regulatory constraints—such as capping the continuous rated output at 250 watts to allow operation without a driver's license or registration—primarily apply to Germany and the wider EU market for now, though Raymon is active in other European countries as well. Energy is supplied by a 700 Wh battery.

The Tarok Pro features a full carbon frame, keeping the overall weight at a relatively light 22.3 kg (49,2 lbs) given its rugged hardware. As is customary for high-end e-MTBs, pedals are not included. The €2,000 price drop compared to the Ultra stems from a somewhat trimmed-down component package. Braking is handled by four-piston Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes instead of the Magura Gustav Elite system. Shifting duties are managed by an 11-speed drivetrain combining Shimano Deore XT and Cues components, whereas the Ultra model boasts SRAM's wireless S1000 AXS Transmission. Suspension consists of a RockShox Psylo Gold RC fork and a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock, while Continental Kryptotal-F Enduro tires handle traction at both ends.
