Casio launches new minimalist watches with sapphire crystal

Casio has officially unveiled four new Beside line watches on its international website. Images of these black and white BMS-105 models were leaked in August 2026, revealing two metal strap variants and two more options with a leather strap. The brand describes the watches as “dressy analog timepieces”.
In the official Casio product listing, the company confirms that this rectangular model features silver colored stainless steel casing and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. As shown in the leaked images, the watch face features a combination of Roman numeral and baton indexes, and three analog hands set on a stripe section in the centre of the dial. The model uses a 1771 module, with an estimated accuracy of within 20 seconds per month. Plus, its SR621SW battery provides around three years of run time, and the watch is water resistant to 50 m.
The BMS-105D-1A and the BMS-105D-7A have a silver tone metal band with a 3-fold clasp, while the BMS-105L-1A and the BMS-105L-7A each come with a black leather band. The model numbers ending 1A have black dials, while the model numbers ending 7A have white dials. All four watches measure 42.5 x 28.5 x 6.7 mm (~1.67 x 1.12 x 0.26 inches), with the leather strap timepieces weighing 39 g (~1.38 oz) and the metal band variants weighing 104 g (~3.67 oz).
While the new Casio Beside line BMS-105 watches are now confirmed for release in September 2026, the brand has yet to announce the on-sale date and pricing of the four models. It could be that these watches are only available in Asia, in which case customers in North America and Europe will have to acquire the products via resellers.
