A new G-Shock x Hotei collabotation watch will be unveiled soon
G-Shock and Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei have announced their fourth collaboration watch. Based on the metal-bezel GM-5600, the new model features Hotei’s Guitarhythm pattern across the face and band

Japanese guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei will get another limited-edition G-Shock launched in his name (H/T Gshockblog). The fourth Hotei × G-Shock collaboration has now been officially announced. The new model is a part of Hotei's ongoing 45th-anniversary celebrations and is based on Casio's metal-clad GM-5600 series.

Dubbed the Hotei 45th Celebration G-Shock Guitarhythm model, the watch uses the Casio GM-5600UB-1 as its base. That means it retains the familiar square 5600-series design but swaps the conventional resin-only construction for a stainless-steel bezel surrounding the inner resin case.

This will be Hotei's fourth G-Shock collaboration. For now, the announcement focuses mainly on the exterior design. There is no indication that the special edition's underlying GM-5600 platform has major functional changes.

The Hotei 45th Celebration G-Shock Guitarhythm model is also tied into Hotei's Stay Wild tour, a tour across 21 Japanese cities beginning on September 5, 2026. Samples of the watch are expected to be displayed at merchandise booths during the tour. No price or release date has been announced.
