The new Casio AQ-230ECK-3AJR (pictured) is the company's second collaboration with Café Kitsuné.
Casio has officially launched the AQ-230ECK-3AJR, a Café Kitsuné collaboration watch with a matcha green dial, fox motifs and engraved caseback. It costs ¥17,600 (~$110) and ships in September as a Casio Online Store exclusive.

Casio's new AQ-230ECK-3AJR is a Café Kitsuné collaboration built on the AQ-230, the Japanese company's analog-digital vintage platform, and it is priced at 17,600 yen including tax, or roughly $110. Release is set for September, and preorders are open right now. Casio Japan is handling it exclusively through its own online store.

The dial is matcha green, chosen because Café Kitsuné introduced matcha to Paris before building a reputation in speciality coffee. The brand's fox symbol is printed below 12 with the Café Kitsuné wordmark above 6. The fox also appears on the caseback alongside the logo, which is further stamped into the bracelet clasp. Packaging is finished in matching matcha colors.

This is not the first watch the two have made together. An earlier collaboration used the A168 platform with an orange LCD (referencing the fox); the AQ-230 gives the partnership an analog dial to work with for the first time.

Specifications-wise, the case and bezel are resin with a metallic finish, the crystal is plastic rather than mineral or sapphire, and Casio rates the watch only for everyday water resistance without quoting a bar figure. The bracelet is stainless-steel with an adjustable clasp, fitting wrists between 150 and 205 mm.

Dimensions are 38.8 by 29.8 by 8.1 mm at 47 grams. Module 5154 handles dual time, a 1/100-second stopwatch running to 60 minutes, an alarm with hourly signal, an auto calendar and 12 or 24-hour display. Accuracy is quoted at plus or minus 30 seconds a month, and the battery lasts about three years.

No limited-edition figure has been published as of writing. Alternatively, you can check out the Casio AQ230GA-9D on Amazon.
