DJI Avinox instead of Bosch: Relatively affordable new e-bike delivers 150 Nm and 800 Wh

DJI Avinox continues to make waves in the e-bike industry, most recently with its updated Avinox M2 and M2S drive systems. The newly announced Crussis e-Hard 11.11, priced at €3,890, comes equipped with the flagship Avinox M2S motor, capable of pushing out up to 150 Nm of torque in Boost mode. While peak output in Boost mode reaches an impressive 1,500 watts—far exceeding typical industry benchmarks—the continuous rated output remains capped at 250 watts. This ensures full compliance with legal requirements for registration-free e-bikes across Germany and the EU.

For €3,890, buyers receive the bike equipped with an 800 Wh battery. Opting for the 600 Wh variant drops the price by €300 and sheds roughly 900 grams of weight. Disappointingly, Crussis omits overall weight figures on the official product page, pointing to a lack of industry weighing standards and encouraging buyers to weigh the bike in-store instead. Given the robust motor, sizeable battery options, and aluminum frame construction, the e-Hard 11.11 is unlikely to be light. The bike's build features a Fox AWL 34 suspension fork with 130 mm of travel up front. As a hardtail, it lacks a rear shock.

Drivetrain duties are handled by a 12-speed SRAM 70 T-Type Eagle setup, paired with hydraulic SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes clamping onto 200 mm rotors front and rear. True to its performance-focused hardtail positioning, the e-Hard 11.11 lacks commuting accessories such as integrated lighting or mudguards. Tech features include a 2-inch OLED display integrated directly into the top tube for added protection against trail impacts, alongside two wireless handlebar remotes for quick assistance mode and menu adjustments.
