The TCL X11K QD-Mini LED TV has been listed on the brand’s European website. This model was briefly discussed at CES 2025 and is a successor to the X11H, which launched in China in 2024. It is a 4K model with a 144Hz VRR refresh rate and will be offered in two sizes: 85-inch and 98-inch.
Like the X11H, the X11K offers up to 14,122 dimming zones and has 6,500 nits peak brightness. The main difference is found in the panel, with X11K equipped with a CrystGlow HVA panel for a 7,000:1 native contrast ratio, and a nanoscale film which is said to minimize reflections.
The X11K TV also features TCL’s new Halo Control Technology, which the company claims “solves the halo problem”. This combines several features like a new light emitting chip, said to enhance both brightness and energy efficiency, a super condensed micro lens for precise directional light controls and a super micro-OD, which also helps to keep the model slim.
This new TCL TV covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports Dolby Vision IQ, HLG and HDR 10+. The AiPQ Pro Processor brings tools like 4K upscaling and MEMC, and the Google TV interface provide access to many streaming apps and allow for controls with Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, you can cast to the TV via AirPlay and Miracast, with support for Multi View 2.0 quad-casting.
For gamers, there is Game Master Pro 3.0, support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and four HDMI 2.1 ports (at least one with eARC). On top of this, there is a built-in Bang & Olufsen speaker system, with the Beosonic feature allowing you to adjust the audio to suit your taste or mood. TCL has yet to announce the European release date or pricing of the 85-inch and 98-inch versions of the X11K TV. The model is also expected to go on sale in the US later this year.
