Philips has released its latest gaming TVs in the 7600 Series, which come with 144Hz refresh rates and 4K UHD resolution. Available in two sizes—43 inches (43PUG7674/F7) and 50 inches (50PUG7674/F7)—these TVs come with features such as ultra-smooth motion and low input lag.
The 7600 Series features a 144Hz native refresh rate to reduce stuttering in fast-paced games. AMD FreeSync Premium support should help minimize screen tearing at different resolutions. With Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and a 1ms response time on the 50-inch variant, input lag should be pretty low as well.
Both TVs have a 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support. The LED display has a wide 178-degree viewing angle for clarity from any perspective. The panel also supports gaming-focused enhancements like Game Mode and HLG, that should improve motion handling and HDR performance.
On the audio front, the TVs feature Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio for a cinematic surround sound experience. Connectivity options include four HDMI ports, three USB ports (1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0), and Optical (TOSLINK) digital audio output. Wireless features like Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac are present for easy pairing with headphones, soundbars, and other peripherals.
OS-wise, Google TV allows access to streaming services, live TV, and gaming apps in one place. With built-in Google Assistant, users can control their TV and smart home devices via voice commands. Additional convenience features include parental controls, automatic screen adjustments, and guided setup for quick installation.
The Philips 7600 Series gaming TVs include settings designed for lower input lag and better response times, making them suitable for both solo and multiplayer gaming. Pricing and availability will vary by region, with options to purchase from major retailers.
