Computex 2023 | Schenker unveils plans to launch new XMG PRO 16 Studio with Core i9-13900H processor
Schenker has already unveiled its new XMG APEX 15 and 17 laptops at Computex 2023, and has already started teasing its third-quarter (or 3Q2023) line-up into the bargain with the promise of a refresh for both laptops with the Ryzen 7 7840HS processor instead. However, the new XMG Pro 16 Studio is also now projected to be available beforehand, in July or August.
The OEM asserts that it may appeal to gamers who also like to create content, with a 16:10 display driven by up to RTX 4070 graphics and a high-end, yet potentially battery-efficient, Raptor Lake CPU. Schenker hints at a "competitive" price similar to that of the latest Focus 16 thus far.
Those who would like to face the prospect of spending less might be able to turn to machines that literally put the BASE in the newly-announced base models of the Work 14 and 15. They are slated to make do with the Core i5-1235U - yet launch with a "full-function USB-C" port and LTE-enabled options for around €800 (~US$852).
They are also slated to launch in 3Q2023 - but not before new versions of the Work 15 and 17 with the i7-1360P and, like the 14 BASE and 15 BASE, no discrete graphics. Schenker has yet to indicate a guide-price for those variants, however.
