Schenker has announced the release of the XMG Core 15 and 17 (M21) laptops. They may be refreshed versions of their early-2021 (or E21) counterparts; however, this involves an upgrade to 11th-gen Intel silicon, and, thus, Thunderbolt 4/USB4. The rest of their specs remain unchanged, their RTX 3060 graphics included.

Schenker has launched the XMG Core 15 and 17 laptops...although some onlookers might wonder why, as they are pretty much the same as their Intel-powered E21 counterparts previously released in 2021. However, these mid-2021 (or M21) versions may be the refreshes to have held out for, as the OEM has updated them both with the Intel Core i7-11800H processor.

Accordingly, this replacement for the i7-10870H in the M21s' immediate predecessors introduces Thunderbolt 4 to their XMG Core mid-range gaming series. It is (obviously) found in the 15 and 17's USB type C ports, of which each variant has 1, found to the rear of each machine, moreover.

Otherwise, the M21 Core 15 and 17 still have dual USB type-A 3.2 Gen1, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, dual SSD bays rated for RAID 1 or 0 and 6GB of RTX 3060 graphics, which still have a TDP of technically up to 130W. Their 15.6- and 17.3-inch displays have matte IPS FHD/144Hz or QHD/165Hz options.

Schenker has already listed the XMG Core 15 and 17 M21s on its Bestware store, at prices of €1,579 (~US$1,882) and €1,599 (~$1,906) respectively, or €79 more each for the top-end display configuration. However, none of them are slated to become available until July 2021.
