XMG has announced the APEX 17 M21, a 17.3-inch alternative to the APEX 15 M21. The 396 mm x 262 mm x 32.4 mm laptop weighs 2.5 kg, a much larger footprint than its smaller sibling. Still, the APEX 17 M21 has a 230 W power supply and a 49 Wh battery, shared with the APEX 15 M21.
The APEX 17 M21 is also available with a Ryzen 7 5800H or a Ryzen 9 5900HX, along with a GeForce RTX 3060 or GeForce RTX 3070, two GPUs based on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture. Like the APEX 15 M21, the APEX 17 M21 utilises a GeForce RTX 3060 with 6 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 115 W TGP with 15 W Dynamic Boost. Likewise, the GeForce RTX 3070 option has 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 125 W TGP augmented by 15 W Dynamic Boost.
Moreover, XMG only offers a single 1080p panel with the APEX 17 M21. The 1080p panel also runs at 144 Hz with a 300 cd/m² peak brightness and 90% sRGB coverage, identical specifications to the APEX 15 M21.
