XMG FOCUS 15 M21 revealed with powerful components in a lightweight chassis
The FOCUS 15 M21 is here, with XMG unveiling four new gaming laptops today. The FOCUS 15 M21 shares almost all its components with the larger FOCUS 17 M21 but in a smaller and lighter chassis. According to XMG, the FOCUS 15 M21 measures 359.5 x 238 x 21.9 mm, compared to the 396.9 x 262 x 23.5 mm chassis of the FOCUS 17 M21. Similarly, the FOCUS 15 M21 is 0.5 kg lighter than its 17.3-inch equivalent at 1.9 kg.
An Intel Core i7-11800H processor powers the FOCUS 15 M21, which XMG has complemented with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. The laptop's GPU tops out at 60 W, or 75 W when Dynamic Boost is active. Meanwhile, a 15.6-inch IPS panel is the FOCUS 15 M21's only display option, which offers a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel native resolution, a 144 Hz peak refresh rate and a 300 cd/m² maximum brightness.
Additionally, the laptop can be configured from 8 GB of RAM to 64 GB and 250 GB to 4 TB SSDs. All configurations come with the same ports, including four USB ports, HDMI 2.0 and a Mini DisplayPort 1.4 connection, among others. The XMG FOCUS 15 M21 starts at €1,199, making it considerably cheaper than the FOCUS 17 M21, APEX 15 M21 and the APEX 17 M21. The FOCUS 15 M21 is shipping now.
