Xiaomi is now gracing the Mi A3 with yet another update, in the guise of the September security patch. The OTA is currently rolling out to owners of the global model of the Android One phone and should get to the European variant of the device shortly after.
Xiaomi's Mi A3 is its last Android One phone standing. Released in 2019, the Mi A3 is in its last year of support but Xiaomi has continued to provide it with monthly updates, and usually on time at that.
The newest update to land on the Mi A3 is the September security patch. The OTA arrives on the Android One device with the build designation "V12.0.14.0 RFQMIXM", showing that it's an update for the global model of the phone. As is typical with Android One updates, the September patch is light, weighing in at just 39.74 MB. The changelog is uninteresting as well, as the patch is said to fix bugs and improve security. Same old.
This update is already rolling out publicly to owners of the global model of the Mi A3. Owners of the European model of the phone can expect a similar OTA to arrive on their phones over the course of the next week.
