Beelink GTR7 and GTR7 Pro now available with AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS and Ryzen 9 7940HS

Beelink has opened pre-orders for the GTR7 series, its rival to the UM790 Pro that MINISFORUM launched less than a week ago. At launch, Beelink offers two models, the GTR7 and GTR7 Pro. Naming schemes aside, the pair are identical save for different Zen 4 Phoenix APUs. Specifically, the GTR7 features the Ryzen 7 7840HS, whereas the GTR7 Pro offers the higher clocking Ryzen 9 7940HS. Both feature eight CPU cores and sixteen threads though, along with a Radeon 780M iGPU that shares a 35 W TGP with the CPU cores. 

For reference, all GTR7 configurations ship with the following ports:

• 2x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
• 2x 3.5 mm jacks
• 1x DC (proprietary magnetic connector)
• 1x DisplayPort 1.4
• 1x HDMI 2.1
• 2x USB 2.0 Type-A
• 3x USB 3.2 Type-A
• 1x USB 3.2 Type-C
• 2x USB4 (40 Gbps bandwidth/100 W USB-PD/DisplayPort 1.4)

Additionally, Beelink has included two SO-DIMM banks for DDR5-5600 RAM and twin M.2 2280 connectors that support 4 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage per slot. As usual, Beelink also equips the GTR7 series, which measures 168 x 120 x 49 mm, with a top-mounted fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello authentication. 

The GTR7 series starts at US$750 for the regular GTR7 with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. Alternatively, Beelink sells the GTR7 Pro with the same memory for US$830, which is available in the same four colour options as the regular GTR7.
