Samsung leaks are unavoidable nowadays. Not only official press photos but also real images of early testers often end up online too early. Recently, a few initial unboxing photos of a blue Galaxy Z Fold7 landed on social media, and now something similar has happened with the Galaxy Z Flip7. A 19-year-old tech lover from Romania named @andrei_eclynoh has just posted (July 5) what is believed to be the first photo of a Galaxy Z Flip7 in the wild, including the packaging.
So far, there is only this one real image, which presumably shows a black color option since the cover display edges come in blue and red for the other color options. As the official press images previously leaked by Evan Blass (see also above) suggest, the cover display, which has grown to 4 inches, does indeed appear to have significantly reduced bezels. In the image below, the date and time of the recording can be seen on the always-on display, so the photo itself is probably about two weeks old.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 on July 9 at a Galaxy Unpacked Events in New York. For the first time, a slightly cheaper Fan Edition, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, is also expected. However, its design will be more similar to the Galaxy Z Flip6 than to the new Samsung flip phone. Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold7, both flip phones are expected to have an Exynos 2500 processor, and the foldable case will also likely be slightly slimmed down.
