While rumors of the Galaxy Z Fold4 dominate headlines, there's been mostly nothing about the cheaper Galaxy Z Flip4, despite the fact that the Flip sells better and will debut at the same time as the Fold. There's a reason for that, it appears.
According to leaker Dohyun Kim, the Galaxy Z Flip4 looks set to be an incremental upgrade on the Galaxy Z Flip3. While the Z Fold4 is expected to get a new UTG, new hinge, and significantly improved cameras, the Flip4 is tipped to retain most of the hardware of the Flip3—at least on the design end.
Speaking of the Galaxy Z Fold4, leaker Ice Universe has now revealed that the line-leading folable will not get an increase in battery capacity. The Galaxy Z Fold3 features a 4400 mAh and the Z Fold4 is touted to land with that same battery. That isn't surprising, as rumors from last week already indicated that the Galazy Z Fold4 would not benefit from the Galaxy S23 series' new battery technology.
The good news is that the Fold4 is lighter and thinner, and the battery is still 4400mAh. Considering the superior energy efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Plus, I am optimistic about the battery life. https://t.co/PRk8U4P0Lm
