Latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 leak is a mixed bag

Details of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 have leaked consistently over the past weeks. The phones are expected to mostly retain the designs of the predecessors, particularly with the Z Flip4, but the cheaper phone also looks set to get a major upgrade over the Z Flip3.

As it appears, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 will both be equipped with 25 W charging. That's good news for fans of the Flip model, as the Z Flip3 was limited to an embarrassing 15 W. This increase will see the Galaxy Z Flip4 charge as fast as Samsung's other offerings, including the vanilla Galaxy S22.

For fans of the more expensive Fold, though, that may be considered bad news as most would expect the foldable to offer 45 W charging. The Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra can both charge at 45 W, and the Galaxy Z Fold4 is expected to be quite a bit more expensive than even the Galaxy S22 Ultra. That said, there's hardly a difference in real-world performance between Samsung's 25 W and 45 W charging setups.
