@UniverseIce has revealed new details about the Galaxy Z Fold4 on Twitter. While not due to arrive until the autumn, @UniverseIce claims to have received information about how the Galaxy Z Fold4 will differ from its predecessor. As the images below show, the leaker believes that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will be slightly shorter and wider than the Galaxy Z Fold3, although not to the same extent as the Oppo Find N.
Specifically, @UniverseIce asserts that the Galaxy Z Fold4 will have a 23:9 cover display, down from 24.5:9 in the Galaxy Z Fold3. Supposedly, the cover display will be about as wide as an iPhone 13 mini's 5.4-inch panel. Additionally, they believe that this year's Galaxy Z Fold will launch with a 6:5 internal display when unfolded. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold3's internal display has a 5:4 aspect ratio.
Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold4 should have a slightly squarer look than its predecessor, potentially matching the Pixel Fold. Based on previous information from Ross Young, the Galaxy Z Fold4 will have a 6.19-inch exterior display. Presumably, the wider cover display should make the Galaxy Z Fold4 easier to use as a regular smartphone than its predecessor too. Although @UniverseIce's information has not been verified yet, Galaxy Z Fold4 mass production may already have started.
