Entire Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 spec sheet revealed by new leak
A previous leak revealed everything one needs to know about the Galaxy Z Fold4. The foldable is expected to bring forth many significant upgrades over its predecessors. The Galaxy Z Flip4, on the other hand, will only incrementally improve upon the devices that came before it, according to a new leak from Yogesh Brar.
Like its more expensive sibling, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The leak also confirms earlier reports about the smartphone's battery, which is said to be a 3,700 mAh unit that supports 25 W fast charging over a cable and 10 W wirelessly. The smartphone will run Android 12 with One UI 4.1 on top.
The Galaxy Z Flip4 is could feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate as the main display. Its secondary display is a 2.1-inch AMOLED panel, a slight upgrade over the 1.7-inch variant found on previous models. Thinner bezels are in order, too, according to previously leaked renders.
These are the only meaningful upgrades that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 has in store. At the back, there are two 12 MP modules, one of which is an ultra-wide-angle lens. A 10 MP front-facing camera will handle selfies and video calls. It is essentially the same camera setup found on the Galaxy Z Flip3, hopefully with newer camera sensors.
Although the Galaxy Z Flip4 is a bit disappointing in the camera department, the powerful Qualcomm SoC and upgraded battery make up for it. Additionally, it could also be cheaper than its antecedents, as Samsung wants to sell a lot of foldable smartphones in 2022.
