Asus heads to NAB Show 2022 with its latest creator-focused OLED-display laptops
The NAB Show's committee touts this event as an "unbeatable" venue for creative and content professionals to attend, learn and network every year. It has returned to an in-person form in 2022, taking place live at the Las Vegas Convention Center until April 27. Asus can be found there as an exhibitor to promote some of its latest ProArt-series products, as well as some Pro-grade PCs of other lines.
Unsurprisingly, all of the laptops that have been chosen to be highlighted at this show have OLED displays in common. They include the latest version of the Vivobook Pro 16X and Zenbook Pro Duo, the latter of which has been upgraded as far as an Intel Core i9-11900H processor and now has an RTX 3060 GPU.
They are now available exclusively through Asus' website in the US, priced at US$1,450 and $2,800 respectively. Similarly, the latest versions of the ProArt Studiobooks 16 OLED and Pro 16 OLED, the higher-end of which now has a variant with the 11th-gen Xeon W-11955M and 16GB of NVIDIA's RTX A5000 graphics, have been announced as Asus eShop-only devices.
The 16 OLED in question is priced at $2,000 for an i7-11800H processor and RTX 3060 graphics, whereas the new top-end Pro 16 OLED is, somewhat unsurprisingly, no less than $5,000 at the time of writing.
